For two references, use [the image combiner](https://imgtoimg.co/ai-image-combiner). Text-to-image starts with a prompt without a reference image. Select the model, aspect ratio, resolution and output count available in the editor. Initial requests can produce 1–4 output images; each follow-up edit produces one new image. Upload exactly two JPG, PNG or WebP images, each up to 10 MB (10,000,000 bytes). The two input images are references, not two billable outputs. The selected output count determines how many new images are generated; each output is charged separately. The [examples section](https://imgtoimg.co/ai-image-combiner#examples) shows six pairs of source images and combined results, with suggested prompts: people together, product placement, a person in a new setting, furniture placement, a person with a pet and reference art style. Choosing three or four outputs does not permit a third source image. ## Workflow 1. Sign in and add two clear images. Similar lighting and camera angles can help with realistic compositions. 2. Explain each image's role, choose the model and generation settings, check the cost and generate. 3. Review subjects, faces, text and shadows. Use [the image combiner](https://imgtoimg.co/ai-image-combiner) when a second image supplies the setting. For exact pixel preservation of a product or person, manual compositing may be more appropriate. ## Workflow 1. Sign in, select Image to Image and upload one clear image you have permission to use. 2. Describe the new background and important subject details, select the model, resolution, aspect ratio and output count, check the displayed cost and generate. 3. Compare subject details, perspective, lighting, shadows and contact with the surface. If necessary, select Edit this version for a charged follow-up edit, then review and download the result. ## Documented test On October 10, 2026, the article used GPT Image 2.5, 1K, 16:9 and one output to move an ivory bottle to a sunlit kitchen. The first output was 1672 × 941 pixels and cost 3 credits. One Whole Image / Subtle follow-up edit requested softer shadows. That edit used GPT Image 2.5 at 1K with Auto aspect ratio, produced one 1671 × 941 image and cost another 3 credits. No area marks or retries were used; the documented total was 6 credits. The follow-up softened the shadow, but the cap, shoulders, surface and base must still be compared with the input. This is one bottle without label text, not proof of exact identity preservation or a success rate. The page displays original stored model outputs compressed to WebP, without retouching or redrawing. ## Account, downloads and commercial use Sign in to generate and download. A slow or pending task is not automatically a confirmed failure. - For a saved result with a broken preview or download, reload it or reopen it from [My Work](https://imgtoimg.co/dashboard/my-work), signing in to the account that created it. Reloading does not create a new generation charge. - Confirmed technical failures restore credits for each failed output. In a partially successful batch, successful outputs remain charged. Disliking a completed result is not automatically a technical failure. - For a stuck task or missing restoration, provide the generation reference and error message to support. Do not post private account or billing details publicly. For a refund request include the account email, receipt/order reference, credit pack, purchase date and reason, with a generation reference when relevant. This guide summarizes the public Privacy Policy; read the canonical policy for complete details. ## Processing and sharing Prompts, settings and reference images or image links are sent to Kie to access the selected image models. Follow-up edits can include a prior generated image and annotations. Prompt text is also sent to Creem and Waffo for content-safety checks; Creem requests include an account identifier and Waffo receives prompt language. Checks can delay or reject a request. Inputs, generation records and outputs are stored for delivery, work history and further edits. Account and download interfaces check account access, but reference images may be delivered through public links accessible to anyone who obtains them. Do not assume every underlying image URL is private. The current service does not train its own AI models on uploads or prompts. External generation and safety providers have their own practices. ImgtoImg does not promise provider-wide no-training or zero-retention processing. A model name does not mean direct use of that model company's API. ## Retention and deletion Accounts and saved inputs, images, thumbnails and editing history have no fixed automatic deletion period. Request deletion through support. Temporary transfers and saved checkout tasks generally have a 24-hour validity window; expiry is not immediate erasure of all files or records. Purchases, credits, refunds and some legal or operational records can remain after a deletion request. Signing out or clearing browser data does not delete server-side records. Necessary cookies support the service and remember cookie preferences. On first visit, the Cookie preferences notice appears below navigation in normal page layout. Optional analytics remain off until accepted; accepting and rejecting are both available. Reopen Cookie Settings in the footer to change the choice. Rejecting stops analytics on the device; server confirmation can remain pending and be retried. Withdrawing a choice does not erase account history. Users must comply with input permissions, content rules and third-party rights described in the canonical terms. ## Eligibility and account use You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required in your location, and have the legal capacity or authorization to use the service and make purchases. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, obtain any parent or guardian permission required by applicable law. Sign in to submit reference images, generate and access saved work. Keep account information accurate and use only authorized payment methods. Do not share or sell account access or create accounts to exploit rewards. See [Eligibility and Accounts](https://imgtoimg.co/terms#accounts). ## Content and acceptable use Do not submit prompts or images, generate content, or use results for: - Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content. - Graphic violence, severe injury or gore. - Sexualized minors, child sexual abuse material, exploitation or endangerment of children. - Hate speech or incitement targeting protected characteristics. - Fraud, deceptive impersonation, non-consensual depictions, harassment or privacy violations. - Copyright, trademark or other rights infringement, or other unlawful activity. Do not bypass safety checks, account controls, payment or credit limits; access other users' work; disrupt the service; introduce malicious code; or use unauthorized automation to extract data or generate at scale. Built-in multi-output generation is permitted. Passing an automated check does not certify that content is lawful or safe. To appeal a safety decision or report misuse, contact support with the affected reference and explanation; do not email prohibited images as attachments. Faces, text, logos, product features and unmarked areas can change. Review the downloaded result before publishing or using it for a client. You must have permission to use your inputs. Generation time and availability depend on external providers. Downloads are raster files, not SVG/PSD or editable layers. Paid packs do not guarantee completion time, a particular queue position or a particular creative result. ## Commercial use Images requested while the account has valid paid access supported by a completed credit-pack purchase may be used commercially, subject to the terms and third-party rights. Signup or check-in credits used during valid paid access qualify. Eligibility is based on paid status when the request is submitted, not on which credits were deducted. Buying a pack later does not automatically authorize images requested earlier on a free account. Refunded, partially refunded or reversed purchases do not support valid paid access; other valid purchases may still support it. Losing paid access does not automatically revoke permissions for images validly generated earlier. ImgtoImg does not guarantee copyright protection or exclusive rights. You remain responsible for input permissions and intended use. ## Credits and payment Purchased credits are non-transferable and are not money. They do not expire. Refund-related credit adjustments can affect the account balance and later purchases. Purchase refunds and failure-credit restoration are different remedies. ## Voluntary purchase refund Request within 7 days (168 hours) of the payment-success time recorded by the payment provider, before any generation or follow-up edit requested after that purchase completes successfully on the account. The deadline is when the email or form request reaches support, not the later review time. Purchased, signup and check-in credits all count under this condition. A failed generation alone does not count as successful use. Downloading an older image alone does not count as a new request. A saved task submitted after purchase counts if it completes successfully. Each order is assessed against its own purchase time. A refund request does not automatically cancel or pause pending tasks; eligibility depends on their final outcome. An eligible voluntary refund covers the amount actually paid for the order. There is no routine pro-rata refund of unused credits or automatic cash conversion of a balance. ## Technical failure Confirmed failures restore charged credits per failed output. Successful outputs in a mixed batch remain charged. A completed image you dislike is not automatically a technical failure or eligible for a cash refund. ## Other cases and application Duplicate or unauthorized charges, payment corrections and statutory remedies are reviewed separately. A response, refund approval, submission to the payment provider, and money appearing on a bank statement are separate stages. Verification or pending tasks may take longer. If the processing estimate supplied by support passes without receipt, reply with the order reference. If the original payment method cannot receive the refund, contact support to coordinate with the provider. For a partial refund, recovered credits follow the cumulative refunded share, rounded up to whole credits and capped at the original credited amount. If the balance is insufficient, unrecovered credits become an outstanding adjustment that may be deducted from a later purchase; this does not cause a separate automatic card charge. A refunded or partially refunded order no longer supplies paid access. Another completed, unrefunded pack may still supply it. Without valid paid access, future generation is limited to 1K, downloads have the free preview watermark and new requests do not receive paid-account commercial permissions. A valid permission for an earlier image is not automatically revoked.
